The Bus, a 1959 Chevy Viking 40 by Wink Architecture.

From the architect:

“The clients are a couple with a summer camp on a lake in rural Maine. Visits by extended family and friends to their camp can overwhelm their accommodations, so the bus serves as overflow lodging, plus transportation for groups of up to 12 (plus driver). They love most things retro, and the 50’s/60’s vintage of the bus was a perfect fit.”

“BLANCO & CONAN”

by Pixel Pancho

Born in Turin and introduced to color and form by his grandfather, Pixel Pancho veered away from the traditional paper and canvas being used by his classmates at art school and began using spray cans and markers to create on outdoor surfaces. Since then Pixel Pancho’s work has spun a narrative of a forgotten dusty world filled with decaying humanized robots. In late 2017 he was in Houston for @HueMuralFest where he painted this work at Rutland and W 19th Streets. Pancho says his favorite animal is the cat and, in his trademark style of using the mechanized to portray the organic, he says this 120-foot tribute to two of his cats, Blanco and Conan, “represents the continuation of love in the transition between life and death.”  @pixelpancho/  @houstonheights_tx/
